The rumours are TRUE - Canadian Electronics magazine has NEW OWNER PDF Print E-mail
September 3, 2010

As of this week, Canadian Electronics magazine was acquired from CLB Media Inc. by Annex Publishing & Printing, a business publisher based in Simcoe, Ont. What does this mean?

“We are looking to run [Canadian Electronics] on a go-forward basis,” said Michael Fredericks, Annex president and CEO. He added that CE’s location in Aurora, Ont., will remain unchanged for the next several months, and that there are no plans for changes in staff.

The Canadian Electronics team — Roger Heritage (left) and myself, Mike Edwards — are excited to join the Annex family, and look forward to continuing to execute our mandate of being the go-to resource for Canada’s electronics design engineering  community.

Over time, nuances of the transition will begin to emerge (i.e. email address changes), but concerning our products and commitment to you — our readers and partners — it’s full steam ahead. Annex has proved itself a forward-thinking, strategically driven publisher of business publications in Canada, and is well-positioned to take Canadian Electronics — and your experiences with us — to the next level.
