Simaco Inc., is a new Canadian-owned business formed to help executives apply simulation and modeling for informed decision-making.

 Headquartered in St. Laurent, QC, Simaco’s team brings twenty years of experience in helping Canadian healthcare, seaport, mining, manufacturing, supply chain, airport, airline and defense leaders build models of their operations.

Simaco is the sole Canadian provider of Simio LLC’s new simulation software, a product that makes simulation software easier for decision-makers to use. The software provides the ability to create modeling components without writing computer code, and can automatically convert two-dimensional objects into 3D animations for more precise simulation.

This software solves a long-standing disconnect with simulation software: Because current simulation software requires programming expertise, decision-makers closest to the business operation seldom have the programming background to use it. Those with the programming knowledge often aren’t familiar with operations.
