Ryerson University Professor Named Industrial Chair

TORONTO — Dr. Bin Wu from Ryerson University’s department of electrical and computer engineering has been appointed the NSERC/Rockwell Automation Industrial Research chair (IRC) in power electronics and electric drives,said to be one of the most prestigious research positions in Canada. Professor Wu, Ryerson’s first industrial research chair, has been deemed a senior chairholder, a position reserved exclusively for researchers of international stature.
