Newark InOne, a subsidiary of global Premier Farnell plc and a leading small-quantity distributor of electronic components and test equipment in North America, announced two senior-level appointments: Jeff Shafer, senior vice-president, product and Susan Fischer, senior vice-president, marketing and e-commerce. Both newly created positions report to Paul Tallentire, president of Newark InOne.
 Shafer joins Newark InOne with close to 30 years of experience in the electronic component distribution industry, including 10 years at Arrow Electronics, and 17 years with TTI Inc. in sales and management roles. Most recently he served as vice-president, passive product marketing for TTI in Fort Worth, Tex. He will lead product management, product data, pricing and customer segment initiatives at Newark InOne.
 Fischer?s extensive background in technology, direct marketing, and e-commerce includes four years at CDW Computer Centers, where she created and executed an award-winning e-business strategy. Most recently, she was president of ComMarketing Inc. in Bloomingdale, Ill. a digital strategy and integrated marketing firm serving Fortune 1000 companies.http://canada.newark.com/
