E-T-A makes changes to distribution agreement PDF Print E-mail
E-T-A Circuit Breakers has ended its long standing distribution agreement with a number of large national distributors.
-
“After extended and favourable relationships with these distributors, we feel it’s time to change our distribution model to better reflect the changing realities of distribution in Canada,” commented Bob Ashmore, General Manager of E-T-A Circuit Breakers.

Mr. Ashmore continues, “as one of the largest circuit breaker manufacturers in the world, our product line is evolving towards electronic, solid state circuit protectors to serve the changing manufacturing trends on the global stage. We therefore need to align our company with distributors whom have individual strengths and capabilities in specific industry categories.

E-T-A has moved to a regional distribution strategy that will allow the company to match their business with distributors who have the capabilities to allow them to become more of a strategic partner and provide the focus that will help grow the business.

With this in mind, E-T-A is pleased to announce that they have expanded their distribution agreement with Motion Micro, as an ‘E-T-A Certified’ distribution partner.

Motion Micro brings many strengths to the table that fit E-T-A’s new distribution model. They have a different approach to distribution than most of their competitors in Canada. Motion Micro have had a strong, steady growth because they have positioned themselves as ‘strategic channel partners’ with a smaller number of key lines which allows them to work closely with manufacturers and the customer, providing exceptional personalized service. Their strong team approach and commitment to stocking product allows them to become an intimate partner, providing more value than a traditional distributor.

Steve Kulba, Area Sales & Marketing Manager for Motion Micro, commented “ we are excited about being part of E-T-A’s new distribution plan. We have a ‘back-to-basics strategy’ that makes us very easy to do business with. We see our sales team as an extension of E-T-A in the market place.”
