Alpha Wire targets solar market |
Alpha Wire’s solar cables and photovoltaic wire are designed for the
harsh environments of solar energy applications—the hot and cold of
climate extremes, ozone and UV radiation, moisture, oil, and direct
burial. The cables use a specially formulated PVC jacket to provide
years of reliable service by withstanding the potential environments
without failing or degrading.

Schleuniger CrimpCenter 36 |
The new CrimpCenter 36 can accommodate up to 6 processing stations and is suitable for a variety of applications for cross sections from 24 to 12 AWG (0.22 to 4 mm²). Modern manufacturing materials and patented technologies allow for a compact, economic design without compromising the high Schleuniger quality standards of the 6-Series. Proven state-of-the-art components provide outstanding output rates and the synchronized Ethernet powerlink ensures communication between the software and the 5 servo drives. The 3-Series uses the “EASY” user interface software, which is also used in the 6-Series. It features a color touch screen and icon-based menus, making the new CrimpCenter 36 equally flexible and user-friendly. The new UniCrimp 220 A Crimping Machine includes crimp force monitoring, crimp height micro-adjust, jog mode and split cycle as standard features. Electronic crimp height adjustment, carrier strip cutters and pneumatic feed kits are all available as options as required. Splice detectors as well as pull test and crimp height verification devices can be integrated to accommodate rigid quality standards. To minimize downtime, the ToolingShuttle 30 combines applicator, terminal reel and paper winder in one mobile quick-change unit. The optional EASY ProductionServer networking software for central order management optimizes the processing sequence and minimizes change-over time. Because the CrimpCenter 36 utilizes standard TCP/IP communication, the new CrimpCenter 36 can easily be integrated in networks worldwide. www.schleuniger-na.com |
