 Advanced Analog Technology, Inc. (AAT) – a designer of Analog / Mixed-Signal design housing – decided to deepen its relationship with Silvaco – a supplier of EDA software.
By doing so AAT is adopting Silvaco’s Company Worldwide Unlimited License for Gateway, SmartSpice and Verilog-A. Vice president of AAT, Eric Huang said: “Silvaco's unlimited license is a key factor in reducing our design cycle and increasing our design productivity. It’s responsiveness on technical issues exceeds our expectations.”
Silvaco’s Company Worldwide Unlimited License provides the solution to the problem of limited license availability.
SmartSpice delivers accuracy required to design complex high precision analog circuits, analog mixed-signal circuits, analyze critical nets, and characterize cell libraries, according to Silvaco.
The Gateway schematic editor provides a front end environment for capturing designs and performing simulations in both analog, mixed signal and digital domains.
The Verilog-A language, when used with SmartSpice, provides circuit designers and model developers with “an easy-to-use, comprehensive environment for the design and verification of complex analog and mixed-signal circuits and models, said Silvaco.
