40 Amp DC Connectors PDF Print E-mail
Wieland’s PST 40i1 pluggable connectors provide a 40 Amp DC current capability to satisfy demanding high load applications.  Both PST 40i1 connector versions, pre-assembled, as over-molded, cut-to-length, cable assemblies, or field-wired on-site, carry their rated current throughout the entire -40°C to + 85°C temperature range.  There is no need to reduce the current based on temperature. The PST 40i1 pre-assembled, over-molded cable assemblies, delivered tested and ready-to-install, eliminate time consuming on-site operations, reduce errors, and speed installation. The IP 68 ingress protection rating and robust design ensure operation in harsh conditions. The silver plated, machined contacts are field proven in solar installations, machine tool construction, crane technology, and shipbuilding. Other high current applications include power generation, motor connections for tracking systems, and inverting on-board voltage.
